It’s definitely a juggling act,” adult entertainment actress Alana Evans told HLN’s Dr. Drew Tuesday night. “For me, my family always comes first. The real reason why I actually entered the adult industry and became a porn star was to take care of my family and to take care of my kids.”
Evans explained that her ex-husband helped her find her way into the industry, saying that both of them were open-minded and in an open relationship.
“Sex to me is not love,” she said. “When it was time for me to get out of that relationship, porn saved my life. It gave me a way to be with my son — to be with him every day… [and] gave me money to take care of myself and take care of him.”
She added, “Because sex is my job, it’s not illegal and I’m an outstanding citizen.”
